A Quick Trip Down South.

A few weeks ago I booked a last minute flight to Florida to see my good friend Chelsie. The trip was short and sweet and we had so much fun catching up. 

A few years ago when Jeff and I moved to Florida we were newly weds, in a strange city, with no friends or family near by. We moved into Chelsie and Jeff's old apartment as they were buying a new home. Chelsie and I became instant friends. She feels more like a sister to me and I'm so lucky to have her in my life. 

Sadly it was pouring rain on our beach day. So instead we went to some yummy restaurants, enjoyed too many Blondie's cookies, saw Step Up Revolution, got together with some girlfriends, and watched a lot of Vampire Diaries!

Jeff took us to Datz's for dinner one night. Love those Datchos.

 I got to spend lots of time with this little guy. He's getting so big!

My absolute favorite restaurant in Florida is the La Creperia in Ybor. We met these lovely ladies for some sweet and savory crepes. Love these girls!

Although it was a short trip it was the perfect little getaway. Thanks again Jeff & Chels for letting me visit! 

Happiest Place On Earth.

After the All Star Game we stayed in Orlando for the night. All day Saturday was spent visiting the happiest place on earth... Disney World!! I can't believe we've lived in Florida for 20 months and have only been twice. I was seriously so happy all day. Jeff was a great sport, theme parks aren't really his thing. But I think by the end of the day he was converted! Everyone should experience this place at least once in their lifetime.

This is no ordinary pretzel. It's filled with sweet cream cheese and graham cracker powder sugar on top. Don't get me started. It's soo good!

The firework show was the perfect way to end the night. It was so magical.

All Star Game.

Our last weekend in Florida was a good one. It started Friday night with dinner at Pei Wei's. Soo good! We then met up with Jeff, Chels and little Jaxon in Orlando for the Rookie All Star Game. I love being at live sporting events. There's an amazing energy unlike anything else. Everyone's so excited to be there and it's always a blast!

The game basically turned into a dunking contest. It was awesome.

One of the best parts of the night was when the Kiss Cam found Jeremy Lin's parents. They wouldn't take the camera off of them until they kissed. Everyone in the arena was laughing hysterically because they refused to kiss... acting busy on their phones!

Jeremy thought it was pretty funny too.

Monday night we had a picnic with the Johnson's and Iorg's.

We played football and frisbee.

Watched the sail boats go out to sea.

Tasted some of the best sugar cookies ever.

Enjoyed great conversation with friends.
