Saturday we saw the amazing musical NEWSIES!! It was so good. My expectations were exceeded and then some. This cast was incredible, so talented. It was fabulously entertaining and uplifting. I highly recommend it. The tickets were bought last weekend so we could go with Matt and Katie while they were in town. By mistake the tickets were purchased for the wrong date, the weekend after they left! We couldn't exchange them because all tickets are final sale. We were so sad they didn't get to see the show but luckily our friends Blake & Allyse were able to use their tickets so they didn't go to waste. Matt & Katie you were missed!
After the show ended I was so impressed with the cast I had to stay after to meet them!

After the show we made our way to a Pier/Park on the Hudson River in the West Village.
It was a beautiful day out for a stroll & a pretzel.
We met up with some friends for an Italian dinner at Malatesta Trattoria. This place makes all of their pasta homemade from scratch and the waiter spoke fluent Italian. The restaurant was so quaint and the food amazing. 
After dinner we saw Snow White and the Huntsman and I loved every minute of it.

AHHHHH! I'm SO sad that we didn't get to go with you! It looks amazing. I guess that just means we'll have to come out again soon and go. Sounds like such a fun day. Miss you guys!
