On Friday I met Lauren and Allyse for lunch at Mad. Sq. Eats.
It's a food festival in Madison Square Park.
Restaurants from all over the city bring their goods to share in one spot.
The weather was a little gloomy and rainy but it was still so fun.

That evening Jeffrey and I met a cute couple for dinner at Go Burger.
I knew Amanda when I was young. Our Mom's were good friends and we used to play together all the time.
Her family moved to Utah and we hadn't seen each other since then.
My Mom told me Amanda and her husband moved to NY and I knew we had to get together.
It was so much fun catching up and seeing a childhood friend.
A few fun facts:
Derek and I share the exact same birthday... we both turn 24 this year. Crazy! I've never met anyone with my same age and birthday. They also got married on June 11th, 2010 in the Salt Lake Temple... exact same day and Temple as Jeffrey and I. Seriously so random!
Derek ordered the mac & cheese burger. It was huge but amazing.

We finished the night off with a chocolate peanut butter banana shake.
It was such a fun day.
