Late Show with David Letterman.

Jeff and I have created a "bucket list" of sorts... a list of fun things we want to do while living in this amazing city. This week we checked one of them off the list! We got tickets to the Late Show because my sweetheart answered the trivia question right. I on the other hand answered my question completely wrong! Good thing they gave us another chance. We had such a fun day being part of a live audience . There was a bit of waiting in lines, which was spent meeting people from all over the world! We met some great people from Australia, London, and the good ol south. Jeff and I were lucky enough to score FRONT ROW SEATS!! (probably Jeff's good looks and my enthusiasm) Couldn't have asked for a better view. David Letterman was so much fun. He seems to really enjoy what he does.

One of my favorite parts of the day was being around really happy people. Everyone's so excited to be there and it's very contagious. The "pages", who are the young interns that get the audience all riled up, were explaining to us that we NEED to laugh at everything Mr. Letterman says. Even if we don't find it funny... at all. There were a few times Jeff and I would start into our fake laughs, look at each other and start laughing for real, really hard. The stars that came were okay. I'd say the best part was seeing David in action and all that goes on behind the scenes to make this show happen.
so excited!
While we were waiting outside to get into the theater we spotted Steve Martin shooting a little skit for the Late Show. I love him. He'll always be George Banks in my mind.

.
Below is Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad... I know him as the Dad on Malcom in the Middle. He was one of the guests on the show. We couldn't take ANY photos in the theater (i tried to snap a pic of the set and almost got thrown out by a guy that looked like he was in the secret service?!?) Bryan was signing autographs outside and when I held up my camera to take a picture he looked right at me and gave me this look! I laughed and so did he.
