Long Weekend.

Now that our Florida days are numbered we're quickly realizing how much we're going to miss Tampa. Only five more weeks till we move to New York City. I can't believe it's almost here. It's very bitter sweet. We're so excited for our new adventure but we're really going to miss our good friends and the beautiful beaches.

We had a great long weekend. Saturday afternoon we experienced our first Food Truck Rally with Jeff and Chels. It was really fun and different. There were about 15 different trucks with all sorts of naughty foods.
Chelsie and I split the Monte Cristo with a strawberry dipping sauce.
The boys got barbecue sandwiches and a funnel cake.
Saturday evening we went bowling!

After bowling Jeff and I made smoothies and homemade bread with our new Blendtec Blender! I'm a little obsessed with this machine... it can do everything! This was my first attempt making homemade bread and I think it went pretty well. Although the bread doesn't look that great it tasted really good! Hopefully I'll get better the more I make it.

Sunday night we stayed up late watching "What about Bob"(a classic) and slept in Monday morning. We then headed out to our favorite beach, Anna Maria Island. This day could not have been a better beach day. It was 73 degrees and sunny, in the middle of January! This is another reason why I'll miss Florida...

We had lunch at a little cafe on the beach... Yum!

We stopped by our favorite ice cream shop and enjoyed our cones on the pier.
We spent some time walking around the island admiring our favorite beach houses.
We finished our perfect beach day with a beautiful sunset.

Aww thanks Whit. Your so sweet! We have great weather now but the summers here are miserably hot! I loved your last post. Next time we're together you'll have to teach me how to make cinnamon rolls, yours looked so good! Love you!
